Harry Alford

Whether in venture capital, education or sports, Harry’s career has always centered around inclusion. 

A 4x founder, Harry is based in Washington, DC and is Co-Founder of humble ventures where he supports diverse entrepreneurs and driving innovation opportunities for industry leaders. 

Harry’s previous experiences include managing an accelerator, due diligence with a venture capital firm, and exiting an e-commerce startup.  

Harry holds an MA in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University and an MBA from Babson College.

Harry also has experience playing lacrosse at the University of Maryland and professionally in Major League Lacrosse.

Ajit Verghese

A 4x founder, Ajit started humble ventures in 2014 to address the gaps between enterprise organizations and startups.
 
Ajit is a seasoned executive who leads our partnership with Ogilvy Consulting and is focused on digital transformation and innovation. 

Prior to launching humble, Ajit worked as an executive in a global IT development firm, as a management consultant, as a brand and agency advisor and as a founder and executive at several startups.

He holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Babson College. He speaks Spanish fluently and remains a practicing musician who performs both solo and with a band. You can find him in New York or Washington, DC, with his family.
